Buy USDT with MTN MoMo in Ghana

The most common structure for buying USDT with MTN MoMo is P2P.

You select a trader offering USDT for GHS, send the exact Cedi amount to the Mobile Money details shown in the order, and receive the USDT after payment is confirmed.

Some providers also offer direct crypto purchase flows.

Binance also offers a direct Mobile Money route

Supported Ghana Mobile Money providers currently include MTN, Vodafone / Telecel and AirtelTigo. The published direct buy fee is 1.5%.

Why Quidax is not in the MTN MoMo buying table

Quidax currently supports GHS wallets and GHS withdrawals, but states that users cannot currently deposit Cedis.

For this reason, CryptoPayAfrica does not list Quidax as a normal GHS Mobile Money on-ramp. This is exactly the kind of provider-specific limitation CryptoPayAfrica should highlight.

See Quidax on the GHS cash-out page

How to compare MTN MoMo offers

  • Enter the same GHS amount with each provider.
  • Compare the final USDT received.
  • Check the minimum and maximum order amount.
  • Check the advertiser's completion history.
  • Check whether the MoMo account name matches the order.
  • Check crypto withdrawal fees if you plan to move the USDT to your own wallet.

0% P2P fee does not mean every P2P offer has the same cost. The exchange rate is chosen by the advertiser.
